You would think I knew how to juggle with so many balls in the air but sadly...no. Here is a list of my (professional) interests that have kept me too busy to learn party tricks.
Radio is a passion of mine and has been since my Mom used to take me to her studio as a toddler. After I graduated from college from Portland State University I started working at KVMX and KUFO as a sales rep and doing voice-overs for commercials. Then I went to Z100 where I co-hosted the morning show for two years with Chet Buchanan. For the next couple years I was a weekly guest on their sister station, news talk 1190 KEX, doing consumer reporting. Then I moved across the street to 105.1 "The Buzz" as a guest on the Daria & Mitch (& Ted) Show and as co-host on the Nelson & Terry Morning Show.
I got my start on TV in 2002 at KATU as a shopping expert and moved to FOX three years later when they invited me to be a reporter for the weekday lifestyle show, MORE, that eventually syndicated into 53 markets and changed its name to BETTER. I traveled to New York, Vegas, L.A., and Hawaii for the show and loved covering hundreds of stories in my hometown of Portland, Oregon where the show originated.

When you think about what the average woman buys for herself and her family everyday, you have to appreciate how well-rounded a nationally recognized shopping expert needs to be. I have covered it all, from buying a boat as a single mother to buying a gift for a new mother-in-law. In 2004, after years of reports for television, radio, newspapers and magazines I launched my own site www.NicolleShops.com to share what I have learned and to promote some amazing local businesses. Products and stories ideas can be sent to P.O. Box 17033 Portland, Oregon 97217.
